United Neon Foundation, Inc. (UNFI) was registered with the SEC as a non-stock, non-profit organization on December 2, 2013. It was formerly named as Hearts for Breakthrough Learning Foundation, Inc. In 2017, its Board of Trustees unanimously approved the change of name to United Neon Foundation, Inc. to serve as the Corporate Social Responsibility arm of the United Neon, Inc., a conglomerate engaged in advertising, media marketing services, and trainings established in 1937. Though the Foundation is barely on its fifth year now, the parent company has been deep in charity endeavors long before the Foundation was established by supporting various charitable, religious and educational organizations and NGOs. The philanthropic nature of the owners of the company has made it their long-standing business obligation to commit 50% of the company’s income to charities. UNFI office is located at Rm. 203 HPL Buiding, #60 Senator Gil Puyat Ave., Brgy. San Isidro, Makti City. The Foundation has 2 project based staff, 4 seconded staff, 1 consultant and 5 members of the Board of Trustees.
Its purpose is to be a –purpose driven and transformative education foundation providing support and services such as scholarship grants and financial assistance in the areas of Alternative Learning System (ALS), Information Education and communication publication trainings and workshops both in the formal and non-formal educational system that will cater to the underprivileged and deserving youth and adults in the Philippines. Current programs include scholarship assistance and Alternative Learning System.
