The Tahanang Mapagpala ng Immaculada Concepcion Foundation, Inc. was initially a project of the Senate Spouses Foundation, Inc. to relieve the critical congestion of Golden Acres and Home for the Aged in Quezon City.
The provincial government of Bulacan donated a parcel of land (1,000 square meters) where the center was constructed that features modern home amenities complete with spaces for dining, reception, recreational, conference, clinics and administrative offices, among others. On March 19, 2001, the center was formally turned over by the Senate Spouses Foundation to the Diocese of Malolos, His Excellency Bishop Rolando J. Tria Tirona, OCD, D.D. The center was formally opened on September 4, 2001 and began accepting elders.
It was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on December 18, 2001. Currently, elderly women are given priority, and the Sisters of the Divine Shepherds take charge of this apostolate since it is the charism and the spirit of the Congregation.
