The St. James COPA Foundation, Inc. was registered with the SEC as a non-stock, non-profit corporation on January 17, 2003. It is a grant-making organization whose purposes, among others are to provide assistance to Roman Catholic parishes that have no resources for construction and renovation of its parish churches, conduct values formation and provide uplifting and assistance to women in crisis, the sick, elderly, children with disabilities and inmates. Its main office is located at Cuenca cor. Ibaan Streets, Ayala Alabang Village, Muntinlupa City. The foundation has three seconded volunteer staff from the parish and 14 members of the Board of Trustees.
The Foundation’s programs/projects are currently focused on the following areas: Social Action Ministry; Community Outreach and; Emergency Assistance.
The organization operates nationwide. Its sources of revenue largely come from donations of individuals.
