PHINMA Foundation, Inc.

PHINMA Foundation Inc. (PFI) was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission as a non-stock, non-profit corporation on June 23, 1989 by the principal shareholders and managed companies of Philippine Investment-Management (PHINMA), Inc. with the aim of extending funding assistance to activities geared towards the total enhancement of Filipinos. Its main office is located at 12/F PHINMA Plaza, 39 Plaza Drive, Rockwell Center, Makati City. The foundation has 4 regular staff, 2 part-time staff seconded from the parent company, 3 volunteers and 12 members of the Board of Trustees.

 Following is its PCNC certification history:

April 22, 2002 –April 21, 2005              –           3 years

December 7, 2005 – December 6, 2010  –           5 years

February 4, 2011 – February 3, 2016     –           5 years

 Its purposes, among others, are “to expand and manage the PHINMA National Scholarship program thereby molding leaders in the fields of accountancy, engineering and education; to provide financial assistance primarily for projects and programs focused on education, culture, disaster relief, the environment and the religious; and to help PHINMA companies make life better in the communities they serve.” The Foundation’s focus is now on PHINMA National Scholarship (PNS) program.
