The Philippine Bible Society, Inc. was registered with the SEC as a non-stock, non-profit corporation on May 24, 1966. It is an operating organization. Its main office is located at 890 United Nations Ave., Ermita, Manila. The foundation has a regular staff of 66, project-based staff of 5, part-time staff of 10, and 18 members of the Board of Trustees.
Its purposes (V-M-G), among others, are to promote the widest possible effective distribution of the Holy Scriptures, without doctrinal notes or doctrinal comments, at reasonable prices and in the languages that people can understand. The Foundation distributes copies of the Bible nationwide.
Its sources of income include grants and scripture sales and the Foundation?s approved budget for the current year is P280, 695, 362.00.
