The inception of the Natasha Goulbourn Foundation, Inc. (NGF), is a mother’s response to a daughter’s plea to “help save lives”. NGF was established and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on June 4, 2007 as a non-stock, non-profit organization dedicated to Bringing Depression to Light through educational lectures, confidential crisis lines and referrals to partner mental health professionals.
It is a hub whose primary goal is information awareness on depression and how one can prevent, recognize or treat mental illnesses. It operates a 24/7 portal/hotline crisis support services that respond to depression and suicide related calls. NGF is an official country representative of the International Association for Suicidal Prevention (IASP).
