Lopez Group Foundation, Inc. was registered with the SEC as a non-stock, non-profit corporation on January 28, 2004. It was formed to function and operate as a social, cultural, and charitable foundation, as well as coordinating & networking hub of the philanthropic & CSR initiatives of the Lopez group of companies. Its main office is located at 5th Floor Benpres Building, Exchange Road corner Meralco Ave., Ortigas Center, Pasig City
The foundation currently has 5 full-time & 1 part-time staff, 2 regular volunteers, and 4 consultants. There are eleven (11) members of the Board of Trustees with one vacant slot.
The Foundation has the following certification life history:
October 25, 2005 – October 24, 2006 – 1 year certification
June 21, 2007 – June 20, 2010 – 3 year certification
June 24, 2010 – June 23, 2013 – 3 year certification
August 24, 2013 – August 23, 2018 – 5 year certification
Its main purpose as a corporate foundation is for “community development, for philanthropic and corporate social responsibility purposes, for environmental conservation & socially responsible population programs for the good of mankind and people of the Philippines.” The Foundation does this by engaging in strategic partnerships; organizing & supporting CSR activities; and promoting & preserving cultural heritage. Currently, it is implementing the following programs: scholarships, partnership-building, and volunteerism. Its main programs include Halad sa Guimaras (Livelihood Assistance), Assistance to Bayan ni Juan in Laguna (scholarships), Our Lady of Victory Training Center (opportunity training for PWDs), Forum for Family Planning & Development, small grants/donations for facilities, and coordination agreement with CSR initiatives of the various Lopez companies.
