The Kasama Kita sa Barangay Foundation, Inc. was registered with the SEC as a non-stock, non-profit corporation on July 31, 2013. It is a social development organization organized by a group of individuals led by the Quiambao family of Pangasinan, who wanted to uplift the quality of life of the people in the town of Bayambang, Pangasian. It was primarily established to address poverty due to unemployment and lack of economic opportunities. Its main office is located at KKSBFI Training Center, Baranagay Amanperez, Bayambang, Pangasinan. The foundation has 21 regular staff and 4 seconded staff from STRADCOM. There are 5 Board of Trustees.
Its purposes (V-M-G), among others, are “to institutionalize sustainable livelihood training program for the less fortunate citizens.” The Foundation’s programs/projects now focus on Livelihood Trainings for the residents of Bayambang focusing on the following areas:
- Primary Bamboo Processing Treatment and Preservation
- Livelihood Workshop on Backyard Organic Moringa
- Cosmetology/Beauty Care
- Computer Hardware Service
- Implementation of 4Ps Sustainable Livelihood Training Residential Care
