De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, Inc.

De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde was established in 1988 with the SEC as a non-stock, non-profit educational institution to accommodate working students who wanted to continue with their college education. In 1991, Benilde moved to its own campus on 2544 Taft Avenue, Manila to cater to more students and in anticipation for the expansion of the College. The Taft campus became the main campus of Saint Benilde and through the years it expanded to have two other campuses which are: the Angelo King International Center (AKIC) Campus in Arellano corner Estrada Street, Malate, Manila and the School of Design and Arts (SDA) Campus along Pablo Ocampo Street, Malate, Manila.

De La Salle College of Saint Benilde is faithful to its Catholic heritage and inspired by its Founder Saint John Baptist De La Salle and Patron Saint Benilde, is a community of learners that fosters the holistic development of persons for the service of society and the church. The college is committed to build a just and humane society by being at the forefront of innovative education that is accessible to the poor and diversely-gifted learners.

College of Saint Benilde is a learning environment that nurtures students to develop their interests and passions, and trains them to become professionally competent in established industries and emerging fields of specialization. At Benilde, learning in its many forms is encouraged. Spiritual creative pursuits, artistic endeavors, service to the community, awareness of environmental issues, and concern for the common good are all part of the Benildean education. The College’s learner-centered philosophy is founded on the belief that each student is endowed by God with talents and gifts that should be understood, appreciated and nurtured.

It offers 26 Degree Programs, 3 Masters Degree Programs, 10 Diploma Programs and 1 Special Program, these are under the following: School of Hotel, Restaurant and Institution Management; b) School of Design and Arts; c) School of Diplomacy and Governance; d) School of Management and Information Technology; e) school of Deaf Education and Applied Studies. The College is accredited by PAASCU from level 1 to 4. It also received various citations locally and abroad.
