CEMEX Philippines Foundation, Inc. (CEMEX Fdn.) was founded in 2003 and registered with the SEC as a non-stock, non profit organization on December 12, 2003. “Created to sustain and further strengthen the social programs of its corporate members, composed of companies belonging to the CEMEX Holdings Philippines, CEMEX Foundation works with the firm belief that a passion for learning and development brings never-ending growth.”
In 2020, due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, CEMEX Philippines Foundation endeavored to build healthy and safe communities by supporting local government units in curbing the spread of the virus among its constituents. Over 10,000 families and 3,000 frontliners were supplied with food, hygiene and medical supplies such as personal protective gear, face shields and face masks.
Despite the pandemic, the Foundation was able to implement its priority projects aimed towards building better infrastructure, disaster relief response, and educational assistance.
In 2021, CEMEX Philippines Foundation has identified priority projects focused on continuing its COVID-19 support for impact communities, partnering with like-minded organizations to build sustainable infrastructures, promote sustainable environmental practices, improve educational opportunities among the underserved youth, and provide immediate disaster relief response to affected communities in the Philippines.
