A Home for the Angels was an offshoot project of the (KNM) Kababaihan ng Maynila founded by Mayor and Mrs. Jose Atienza, Jr., which seeks to respond to the needs of neglected and unplanned children saved from abortion through crisis intervention and assisting women with pregnancy-related problems at the KNM and pregnancy counseling services. The women are offered alternatives to abortion which are adoption and foster care. The women are counseled by trained staff or volunteer counselors and the babies are provided a shelter with responsible caregivers who act as surrogate parents until legal placement is facilitated.
Presently, A Home for the Angels is catering to surrendered and abandoned babies being processed for adoption. There will be follow-up after placement monitoring of these babies after the adoption placement is facilitated.
